What is Cerevisiae?

Based on the Latin term for Brewer’s Yeast and Baker’s Yeast, Cerevisiae aims to pay homage to the act of breaking bread. Through a seven course tasting menu, we aim to tell the story of sharing a meal, by having the guest both participate, and contribute to the experience at hand.

Held in different locations around New York City, Cerevisiae is the amalgamation of chefs and artists collaborating to create unique, one time experiences.

The act of hospitality falls hand in hand with our vision of story telling and art, and we believe that within the art of hospitality and breaking bread, one must put others before themselves. We hope to welcome you into our creative spaces, and allow you to experience what it means to be put first.
